Power and Influence for Positive Impact
We’re excited to launch a first-of-its-kind scholarship for a new online course: Power and Influence for Positive Impact. This 6-week online course is taught by SICI’s Founder and Faculty Chair, Julie Battilana and features content and community stories from our community. The course is delivered through the Harvard Business School Online platform.
For more than 10 years, the content in this course has served as a field guide to help individuals at all career levels understand how power really works and develop their own power to gain influence and make an impact within their professional relationships, organizations, and society at large. Participants will explore the fundamentals of power and the importance of relationships and networks as a source of power for all.
Our scholarship reduces the cost of this course to $50 for up to 50 individuals per enrollment period. Through our scholarship, we aim to increase access to content that will accelerate, expand, and diversify the capacity for social changemaking on a broader scale. We hope to increase the number of available scholarship seats in the future.
Course Structure
The time commitment for Power and Influence for Positive Impact consists of approximately 25-35 hours of material delivered over specific 6-week course periods. Participants complete the coursework on their own time, while meeting regular deadlines.
