2025-26 SICI Fellows

The 2025 SICI Fellows are advancing healthcare and education, transforming agriculture and climate action, broadening accessibility to sustainable energy sources, and strengthening our institutions. They are activists, nonprofit leaders, social entrepreneurs, and community change-makers. Representing five Harvard schools — HBS, HKS, HGSE, HSPH, and Harvard College — this cohort exemplifies the strength and promise of cross-sectoral, cross-community social problem-solving.

Bisola Faith Alabi

Bisola Faith Alabi (M.Ed ‘26) is the founder and director of Femnest Lab, an innovation hub dedicated to closing the femtech innovation gap, projected to reach $100 billion by 2029, by equipping African women with the tools, technology, and support to co-create transformative solutions in femtech and the digital economy.

Biruh Demilew

Biruh Demilew (MBA ‘26) is the co-founder of REVOLV, a biotech company that uses black soldier fly (BSF) larvae to convert organic waste into two critical agricultural inputs: insect-based, high-protein animal feed and nutrient-dense organic fertilizer, with the aim of lowering costs, reducing emissions, and building more resilient food systems.

Jasper Doeninghaus

Jasper Doeninghaus (MPP ’26) is the co-founder and CEO of Myranda, a social enterprise which aims to support users in uncovering their digital footprint, controlling their algorithm, and staying private – making their data work for and not against them.

Mellen Masea

Mellen Masea (Harvard College ‘26) is the founder of Nia Yetu, a community-based organization in Kenya that strengthens families at risk of separation and helps youth aging out of institutional care to successfully reintegrate into their communities.

Renata Millet Ponce

Renata Millet Ponce (MPP ‘26) is the co-founder of Elvia, a WhatsApp and AI-powered platform that repairs the school-to-work pipeline by guiding technical students in translating their skills into first jobs.

Akonkwa Mubagwa

Akonkwa Mubagwa (MC/MPA ‘26) is the co-founder and CEO of Winko Solar, which aims to provide solar-powered oxygen systems and cold chains to tackle the critical problem of limited access to life-saving medical solutions in underserved and off-grid communities.

Karishma Swarup

Karishma Swarup (MPH ‘26) is the founder of TalkYouNeverGot, a digital sex education social media community that delivers inclusive, pleasure-based and evidence-driven sexual health content to young people in India.

Eshan Vishwakarma

Eshan Vishwakarma (Harvard College ‘26) is the founder of Arul Health, which seeks to address a gap in behavioral health, integrative medicine, and survivorship care by providing accessible, holistic support for cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers.
