Vera Alexandrov
“I believe everyone can create lasting change, and I’m here to turn potential into meaningful action.”

As a Research Associate, Vera supports Professor Julie Battilana in her research on hybrid organizing, power, and social change. Her work explores how organizations and individuals can challenge existing systems, advance social innovation, and develop more equitable and sustainable approaches to organizing in an ever-evolving work climate.
Prior to joining Professor Battilana’s research team, Vera attended Boston College, where she earned a degree in Psychology and a minor in Management & Leadership. There, she gained research experience in Organizational Behavior, using qualitative methods to explore topics including gender in the workplace, flexible work policies, and the competing demands of work and personal life. During her senior year, she completed an independent study examining the concept of “potential” in organizations, how it is signaled, and what the label means for individuals.
