David Wood

“I study how people try to make finance serve society better.”

David Wood is Adjunct Professor of Public Policy and Senior Research Associate at the Social Innovation and Change Initiative at Harvard Kennedy School. He studies the theory and practice of responsible/sustainable/impact investment broadly construed. Previous research projects have included work on the theory and practice of responsible investment across asset classes; public policy and responsible/impact investment; corporate reporting on ESG issues; and economic inequality and the just transition as topics in the field. He is currently working a history of responsible investment from the 1970s to the present day.
