Abegail Vidrin
I use systems thinking to support individuals and organizations to increase opportunities for all people to flourish.

As a Special Projects Coordinator, Abby Vidrin supports all of SICI’s field-building and educational programs, including the New World Social Innovation Fellows Program, the Marla and Barry Beck Visiting Social Innovator Program, the Strategy Intensives Initiative, and the Power and Influence for Positive Impact course offered through Harvard Business School Online. Across these programs, Abby works to develop strong operational foundations that accelerate both the impact of SICI’s team and that of the scholars and practitioners they serve.
Prior to joining SICI, Abby supported operations at several mission-driven startups across the education, healthcare, and gender equity sectors – including leading the entire operations at a million-dollar educational startup with a mission to improve access to free or affordable tutoring.
In addition to her professional roles, Abby has served as a team leader at the Global Health Impact Project, which aims to expand access to life-saving medications in developing countries, mentored at-risk youth as a middle school mentor; led campus initiatives as Chief of Staff at the Office of Academic Affairs, fostered community as a Residential Assistant during the post-COVID era, and explored pedagogical innovation as a Learning Lab Undergraduate Fellow (LLUF) at Harvard’s Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning. This diverse set of experiences deepened her appreciation for the complexity of social change work and sharpened her ability to address the unique needs of individuals, teams, and organizations.
Abby received a B.S. in Integrative Neuroscience from SUNY Binghamton, where she was awarded both the President’s and Chancellor’s Awards for Student Excellence.
