Resilience Workshop for Social Impact Leaders
October 28 @ 12:00 pm – 1:15 pm
Stressors and setbacks are inevitable for social impact leaders working in uncertain times. The question is not if they will come, but how prepared we are to respond.
Join Brittany Butler, founding Executive Director of the Social Innovation and Change Initiative (SICI) and Adjunct Lecturer in Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School, for an interactive workshop on strengthening your capacity to operate under stress and adapt to changing conditions. Brittany draws upon her own leadership experiences as well as 10 years of coaching leaders while at Harvard, guiding participants through personal reflection and a structured preparedness exercise that integrates concepts from psychology, public health, and organizational research.
Participants will take stock of their supports and identify practical steps to prepare for future stressors and change.
This session invites you to think differently about resilience: not as “bouncing back” to the way things were, but as building the readiness and mindset to adapt continuously as our new normal evolves. All are welcome, and students preparing to step into social impact leadership roles are especially encouraged to attend.
