Meet the 2025 SICI Fellows!

The Social Innovation and Change Initiative (SICI) is thrilled to announce the 2025 cohort of SICI Fellows.

This year, Fellows are advancing healthcare and education, transforming agriculture and climate action, broadening accessibility to sustainable energy sources, and strengthening our communities. They are social entrepreneurs and grassroots leaders. Representing five Harvard schools — HBS, HKS, HGSE, HSPH, and Harvard College — this cohort exemplifies the strength and promise of cross-sectoral, cross-community social problem-solving.

Akonkwa Mubagwa (MC/MPA ‘26) is the co-founder and CEO of Winko Solar, which aims to provide solar-powered oxygen systems and cold chains to tackle the critical problem of limited access to life-saving medical solutions in underserved and off-grid communities.

Bisola Faith Alabi (M.Ed ‘26) is the founder and director of Femnest Lab, an innovation hub dedicated to closing the femtech innovation gap, projected to reach $100 billion by 2029, by equipping African women with the tools, technology, and support to co-create transformative solutions in femtech and the digital economy.

Jasper Doeninghaus (MPP ‘26) is the co-founder and CEO of Myranda, a social enterprise which aims to support users in uncovering their digital footprint, controlling their algorithm, and staying private – making their data work for and not against them.

Karishma Swarup (MPH ‘26) is the founder of TalkYouNeverGot, a digital sex education social media community that delivers inclusive, pleasure-based, and evidence-driven sexual health content to young people in India.

Mellen Masea (Harvard College ‘26) is the founder of Nia Yetu, a community-based organization in Kenya that strengthens families at risk of separation and helps youth aging out of institutional care to successfully reintegrate into their communities.

Biruh Demilew (MBA ‘26) is the co-founder of REVOLV, a biotech company that uses black soldier fly (BSF) larvae to convert organic waste into two critical agricultural inputs: insect-based, high-protein animal feed and nutrient-dense organic fertilizer, with the aim of lowering costs, reducing emissions, and building more resilient food systems.

Eshan Vishwakarma (Harvard College ‘26) is the founder of Arul Health, which seeks to address a gap in behavioral health, integrative medicine, and survivorship care by providing accessible, holistic support for cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers.

Renata Millet Ponce (MPP ‘26) is the co-founder of Elvia, a WhatsApp and AI-powered platform that repairs the school-to-work pipeline by guiding technical students in translating their skills into first jobs.
