Karishma Swarup
I strive for a future where sexual health, autonomy, and pleasure are everyone’s right.

Karishma Swarup is a Master’s in Public Health student in the Social and Behavioral Sciences concentration at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is an internationally experienced sexuality educator and advocate, and the founder of @TalkYouNeverGot, a social media platform with over 60,000 followers that delivers inclusive, evidence-based sex education to young people in India.
Her work bridges public health strategy and creative communication. In 2021, she was named “Influencer of the Year” by the UK’s NHS SH:24 and Brook for her digital advocacy. In 2023, she received a UNESCO and RNW Media grant to design a course for content creators in sexual health. She has led workshops reaching thousands of youth in schools, universities, and online, and her collaborations span grassroots groups like TARSHI to global health agencies like UNFPA and International Planned Parenthood Federation.
Before coming to Harvard, Karishma worked at Dalberg Advisors, where she developed large-scale strategies for global nonprofits and multilateral organizations. She began her journey in sexuality education as an undergraduate at Brown University, volunteering with Planned Parenthood to teach sex education in high schools.
Today, Karishma is focused on reimagining how sexual health education can be accessible, affirming, and scalable – especially in a world where stigma and censorship limit open conversation, even online. She is passionate about destigmatizing sexual health, strengthening health communication, and designing systems that better meet people’s sexual and reproductive health needs.
