As Communications Intern for SICI, Analisa Sorrells drives the content creation and dissemination of SICI’s mission and work. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in public policy and a minor in media and journalism. Previously, Analisa worked as Chief of Staff and Associate Director of Policy for EducationNC in Raleigh, North Carolina.
A first-year student in the Master in Public Policy program at Harvard’s Kennedy School, Analisa is a recipient of the William A. Starr Innovations fellowship for students working to promote innovative solutions and imaginative thinking as leaders in journalism and public service. Her interests include income inequality, social services, and food policy, especially as they pertain to children and families. A native of Orlando, Florida, Analisa enjoys teaching yoga and trying new vegetarian dishes in her free time.
