Social Innovation Studio, Belfer 102, Harvard Kennedy School

The Social Innovation Studio will welcome Nick Ehrmann, SICI Visiting Social Innovator and Founder of Blue Engine to lead this interactive workshop discussion on raising seed capital for early stage social and hybrid ventures. Nick has raised and mobilized more than $20 million in funding to improve public school education. He was awarded an Echoing Green Fellowship in 2010 and received investment from the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation in 2011.

He will share his insights and expertise in seeking early stage capital from accelerators, fellowships, and other incubator opportunities looking to place bets on changemakers. This event is most suitable for students who are currently working in or launching a nonprofit or hybrid organization that is actively pursuing early stage capital investments. Lunch will be provided.
